1. Vote at Council of Representative's election on 24 Oct. - 7 Nov.

Tamko´s council of representatives’ election’s electronic voting starts on 24 October 2018 at 10am and ends on 7 November 2018 at 3pm.

Registered members of the Students' Union (Tamko) who have paid the membership fee and are present during the academic year are eligible to vote at the election.

Identification information for the electronic voting (24 October - 7 November 2018) will be sent to TAMK email addresses before the election for all those who are entitled to vote. In exceptional cases, the identification can be send to other email address that the member has previously informed. Ballot box voting will be held on 6 November - 7 November 2018 at 9am - 3pm on all TAMK’s campuses in Tampere. Ballots are handed out on the election site. Tamko’s student card and official ID or passport are valid proofs of identity at the ballot box voting places. The election has 70 candidates on 7 lists. More information about the election and the nominees can be found from Tamko’s website:

Ballot box voting sites:

· TAMK main campus (Kuntokatu 3, 33520 Tampere)

· Mediapolis campus (Tohlopinranta 31, 33270 TAMPERE)

· Music Academy campus (F.E. Sillanpään katu 9, 33230 TAMPERE)

· Proacademy campus (Finlaysoninkuja 21 A, 33210 TAMPERE)

The electoral system used is called as the proportional representation in which multiple candidates are elected through allocations to an electoral list. This means that candidates who share the same field of study or the same ideology are on the same electoral list. So when you are giving your vote to a candidate, you are also voting for the candidate's electoral list.
