CLINT looking for new board members

The board of Club International Tampere (CLINT) 2010 will be elected on the 8th of December starting at 7pm at Amos-klubi (Varastokatu 3). If you are interested in taking part in TAMK's international club, meeting internationally minded people, travelling, getting a great add to your CV, having fun and plenty more - You should apply! The board has 5 open positions:

- Chairperson is in charge of seeing that everything runs in the club. S/he takes the initiative in organizing events and cooperates with several facets.

- Vice chairperson helps out the chairperson. S/he is in charge when the chairperson is not around and takes the minutes in meetings.

- Pick-up coordinator sees the arriving exchange students have a tutor helping them out on their arrival to Tampere, organizes the pick-ups with the international office and makes sure that the communication between tutors and exchange students works smoothly before the exchange students arrives. S/he has the busiest season at the beginning of each semester. The pick-up coordinator works in close cooperation with the International Office.

- Kit coordinator takes care of the survival kits. S/he sees the kits are ready to be given out and that everyone gets the right kind of kit. His/her busiest times are at the end of the semesters. S/he works in together with the office of the students' union Tamko

- Web designer’s main task is to see to the contents of CLINT’s web pages. Otherwise s/he helps out were necessary.

You do not need to have any kind of experience to apply for these positions. All that is needed is enthusiasm and motivation to make our exchange students stay here in Finland a memorable one!
