Marketing tutoring

Marketing tutors represent TAMK in different kinds of marketing events, fairs and school visits. Tamko trains marketing tutors. In these trainings tutors get a big information package about TAMK, our study programmes and the message they are supposed to deliver. One part of the training consists of how to perform and tell the things. Tutoring is fun! The Student Union organizes all the trainings.

Marketing tutoring, 2 credits

Objectives: Student get to know the degree programmes of TAMK, gain knowledge about the studies at TAMK grows and their presentation skills and confidence increase. After the training, the student is able to market TAMK and its opportunities for studying in different fairs and school visits.

Content: participation in three trainings (12 hours). Representing TAMK, study programmes and Tamko in different kinds of marketing events, fairs and school visits. One whole fair day is worth 2 marks and one school visit is worth 1 mark. To get the credits for the course, marketing tutor needs 5 marks. Presentations always include planning and preparation. A report/ learning diary about tutoring including new ideas and development suggestions is also required.
