Tamko office open again in August

The office of Tamko is open again on Monday, the 2nd of August. During the firts two weeks in August we are open Mon - Fri 10am - 2pm. After the 16th of August the office is open as usual Mon - Fri 9am - 4pm. By picking up the academic year sticker to your student card already in August you're able to avoid the rush later on.

Exceptions in the use of sports hall at Kuntokatu campus

The sports hall at L-building in Kuntokatu campus is open daily from 7am until 10pm during the summer. Students are free to use the gym whenever the sports hall is open. The sports hall reservations can be done in the intranet of TAMK. The sports hall is closed during the following periods:

31.7. – 1.8. The Finnsh Championships of Quick Chess
5.8. – 8.8. Delfin basket tournament
20.8. – 21.8. The Youth Jukola Relay

Belongings in the closets of the C-wing at Kuntokatu campus have been removed

The closets of the C-wing of Kuntokatu campus have been emptied. If you have stored your belongings to the closets, you can ask for them at Tamko office until the 30th of June or during the first two weeks in August. In July the office is closed. After the 15th of August all unfetched things will be delivered to recycling.

Tamko opening hours during summer

Tamko office is open as usual from Monday to friday 9am - 4pm until the end of May. During the summer holidays we are open as follows:

June 1st - 30th Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm
July 1st - 31st only by prior arrangement
August 1st - 15th Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm

Free self-defence lessons in May

Exchange student Jérôme Roux is teaaching self-defence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4pm onwards at Kuntokatu 3, class room B3-20. Last lesson takes place on the 26th of May. Tuesdays' theoretical lessons are for 10 people, so sign up to jerome(piste)roux(at)me(piste)tamk(piste)fi. Everyone's free to join the Wednesdays' practical lessons without enrolments. Put on comfy clothes and join the gang!

Tamko office open this Friday from 9 to 12

Tamko office is open exceptionally only from 9am to 12pm this Friday, the 30th of April. Next week the office is open as usually from Monday to Friday at 9am - 4pm. Tamko wishes all students a great 1st of May (Vappu) party!

Student trip to Saint Petersburg 13.-16.5.

Find SPb with a funny group of students. We will also visit Terijoki (known for its´sandbars) and Vyborg. The trip includes canal cruise, visit in Peter´s palace, partying, russian sauna, barbecue in beach, excursion to Baltika brewery and the castle of Vyborg. Price is 200 € and the trip is organised by Aikamatkat and Pobeda (Russia association of students in Tampere region). www.pobeda.fi
