Membership

The membership of the Students' Union Tamko benefits you in many ways. As a member of Tamko you get a Finnish student card, which is a key to hundreds of local and national student benefits.

You also get a fair discount of the services and activities of Tamko. All students of TAMK can become members. You're warmly welcome to join our 6000 member crowd!

The easiest way to apply for membership and the student card is by filling in the online application. You can also use the printed application which is being sent to all new students.

Before filling in the application, please read through the terms of the blue and the green student card.

Along with a printed application you need a passport photo. You can also have your photo taken at Tamko office.

You may pay the membership fee at the office by cash and many different bank and credit cards.

New members

The prices include a joining fee (8,50 €), which covers the expenses of the student card and is paid only once. Multiannual membership is the cheapest and easiest option. The student card arrives at Tamko office in 2 - 4 weeks after sending in the application. We will inform about the arrival of the card by e-mail, and you can pick it up from our office on weekdays from 9am until 4pm.
